I look forward to helping your son experience all that our school
has to offer. As your son's English teacher, I will help him achieve his goals in this most important class.
I
take my responsibilites as a teacher very seriously. I have taught at the Prep for the past three decades, serving as a
Varsity Coach, Chairman of the English Department, and Dean of Freshmen. I pledge to put forth my best efforts
to help your son succeed. I ask you, the Iona parent, to encourage your son to always put forth his
best effort, too.
I live 50 miles away from the Prep, but I come here every day because I feel so strongly that
the Prep is such a special place! I drive 100 miles a day, round trip, to and from the Prep. That means every year I
log 18,000 miles! Iona parents, I ask you to make sure your son is also "going the extra mile" on the road to academic
success. There is no shortcut! It's all about hard work and the "drive" to succeed!
